Howard Liebengood, 51, a Capitol Police officer who responded to the riot at the Capitol Complex on Jan. 6 has died while he was off duty over the weekend, fellow officers told the Washington Post.
His death was a suicide, those officers said. Leibengood is the sixth person to die after being present at the horrific event, and the second officer with U.S. Capitol Police.
